It was a beautiful day, for the first day of summer in Central Park. Tavern on the Green, in Central Park, is a wonderful restaurant to enjoy with friends surrounded in a beautiful ambiance. Enjoy selections of fresh seafood, with a variety of great sandwich choices.
Shakespeare’s Garden next to Beldevere’s Castle in Central Park glows with an enormous array of flowers and plants. Many of the plants such as primrose, larks heel, and other flowers are from Shakespeare’s poems that grow in the garden. Look for Shakespeare’s quotes from his plays and poems on plaques next to the flowers.
Enjoy the outdoor summer series of music right next to the garden.
