The Edinburgh Castle, Castle Rock Edinburgh – the photo was taken by Debra Kirkham
This majestic castle prominent in stature and presence is a remarkable sight. Built in the 12th century by David I, the son of Saint Margaret of Scotland. Castle Rock was once a military base. For centuries the residence of royalty. The castle has been rebuilt in some rooms. The tours are outstanding to experience and to see St. Margaret’s Chapel, the Great Hall of King James IV, the National War Museum, the Scottish National War Memorial and so much more.
